Mark was a fully committed theatre nerd with several high school and community theatre productions until he decided to get serious and left home to go to college.

There he pursued several majors until, on a lark, he auditioned for a college production of Jesus Christ Superstar and was cast in the title role. He then left college and moved to New York City where he trained at The Neighborhood Playhouse and Esper Studios and pursued a theatre career.

After a few off-broadway productions, some regional dinner theatre, three national tours and a bunch of oddball jobs, Mark decided to get serious again and joined the corporate workforce.

About ten years into that he saw an ad for a local rock choir, Rock Voices and, again on a lark, decided to check it out. That led to some great friends, a few solos and a recommendation that he try out for NYC Guitar School’s Rock Band 101 program which then led to him being asked to join this amazing group of musicians to form Jet Set.

He has no plans to ever get serious again.

Mark is beyond grateful for getting to train with: Marianne Cheng Music; Sean Matthew Whiteford; and Kurt Wolf / Wolf Studios NYC.

Reno’s journey with the guitar began in childhood, though the exact moment he first picked up the instrument is lost to time. What he clearly remembers is discovering guitar tabs tucked into the centerfolds of Guitar magazine in the late 1970s and ’80s—a discovery that ignited a lifelong passion for music. Entirely self-taught in his early years, Reno developed his skills out of curiosity and a deep love for the guitar.

In 2009, that passion led him to enroll at the New York City Guitar School, a premier institution in Manhattan known for its structured curriculum, expert faculty, and vibrant community of musicians. There, Reno expanded his understanding of music theory and technique. With growing confidence, he joined his first band.

Since then, Reno has performed with a wide range of groups, including D’Edge, Delusional Obsession, Mercury Lemonade, and his current band, Jet Set. Each project has influenced his playing style, stage presence, and artistic voice.

With a blend of decades-long self-study, formal training, and extensive live performance experience, Reno brings passion, precision, and personality to every note he plays with Jet Set.

Tony's love of drumming started with pots and pans on the kitchen floor and never let up.  After graduating from the cookware circuit, he became a proud member of his high school’s award-winning drumline—cementing his obsession with rhythm and live performance. Since then, he’s played everywhere from local dives to legendary venues like Irving Plaza, bringing thunder behind the kit and a smile to every stage.

Tony’s influences are all over the musical map—from the Beatles and ’80s hair bands to ’90s grunge and country and pop—so whatever the genre, he’s ready to groove. Before Jet Set, he pounded the skins for bands including Some Assembly Required, Short Notice, Jinnrail, Based on Graphs, D’Edge, and Subway Surfers.

When he’s not behind the drums, you might catch Tony behind a mic doing stand-up comedy in clubs across NY and NJ.

In spite of the rather abrupt ending to his boy soprano international classical and high church music career, Rick found ways to reinvent his relationship with music and performance.

Rick has played bass in bands for many years, including an early 90s tour with the almost-signed original garage band DIG.

In addition to rock and pop bands, Rick’s other performance passion is opera, portraying many of the standard opera repertoire bass roles, as well as supporting the emergence of new modern American opera.

Before joining Jet Set in 2024, he played with Creative Juice, Slim to None, WhiteSnakeStone, Firewall, and, way back in high school, Silent Minority, where he doubled on drums and guitar.

His musical interests and influences encompass a wide range of artists, including hard rock (Aerosmith, Guns 'n Roses); jazz (Dexter Gordon, Chet Baker); prog (Rush, Yes); and of course, 80s hair metal and pop (Poison, Bryan Adams, Debbie Gibson).

When he's not strumming his six string, he is often flying around the country for work, taking his daughter to lacrosse tournaments and showcases, or simply relaxing at home with his wife, daughter, and dog, Furley.
